△At the residence of Saiki Hikobei, a lecture meeting of the Kyōsha-kō was held. The resident priest of Butsushōji Temple in Minami-Emori Village, acting instructor (gon-kundō) Zenren Hōjō, gave a sermon.
15th Day — Cloudy, Rain Midday meal: Tai (sea bream), butterbur (fuki)
Household chores.
A resident monk from Senshūji Temple, Yōi Village, Ōno District, gave a sermon at the home of Tsubokawa Chūzaemon.
16th Day — Clear Ordinary
Helped with the doors. Miscellaneous household chores.
△It is said that the pit-fields (anadeta) of Arata (改田) were planted around these days.
17th Day — Rain, Heavy rain in the afternoon Midday and evening: Fuki (butterbur), vegetables, tempura of bamboo shoots
Work at Arata (改田). Day laborers Asaemon and Monbei assisted.

△The temple bell of Fukui Honganji (Hongan-ji Temple, Fukui) — it appears that after being cast today, it was lowered to the rear of Kōkenji Temple in San■-machi (name partially illegible).

The temple bell of Fukui Honganji Temple was loaded onto a cart (jiguruma) from the precincts of Kōkenji Temple at the foot of Asuwa Mountain, and was retrieved/transported today. It appears that it was not carried across Tsukumo Bridge (on shoulders).
