一、質草として預かっている唐人の件について、御船が到着したので、仮屋形ができ次第引き取るようにいたそうと存じます。
一、今日唐船へ薪を少し送りました。段々と要求してきたため、そのようにいたしました。
一、姫島定番の吉岡九太夫が警固のため唐船の近くへ番船を出して勤務しておりましたが、御足軽頭衆が到着したので引き渡しを行い、早々に引き取るようにと申し談じました。
右の通り宿継ぎにて申し越しました。
右の件について
一、唐船漂着の件を直方へ八月十一日に御家老中から言上した趣旨は、漂着したので早々に役人をその地へ派遣し、例の通りまず長崎の日下部丹波守殿、渡辺外記殿の御家臣まで御書状にて申し入れました。
長清様からは毎回の通り筆談等が済んだ上で、丹波守殿、外記殿へお手紙をもってお伝えになることでございましょうと、委細にお伝えしました。
長崎へ御飛脚を派遣しました。
御飛脚をもって一筆申し入れます。
一、去る八日朝、岐志浦沖に唐船一艘が見えて、段々と陸地へ近づいてきて、昼過ぎ頃に岐志浦沖の野辺崎へ碇を下ろしました。
これにより姫島定番の吉岡九太夫が出向いて見守っていたところ、唐船より書付一通が差し出されたとの注進があったので、御城下から早速のため

From Lord Nagakiyo, as is customary, after completing the written dialogues and such, detailed information would be conveyed to Lord Tamba-no-kami and Lord Geki through letters.
