現代語訳
一、同三年（午年）二月、先務御省略方任役の節に、米の売買手形に関する一件により、御擬作・半給・御役儀ともに召し上げられ、小普請を仰せ付けられた事。
一、同四年（未年）十二月、席は検地役人筆頭の次に仰せ付けられた事。
一、同五年（申年）三月、七右衛門と改名したい旨の願いが許可された事。
一、同七年（戌年）十月、御用所当座御雇を仰せ付けられた事。
一、同八年（亥年）十月、御用所役人を仰せ付けられた事。
一、天明元年（丑年）六月、お高遠最上（殿）が召し出され、会津へご供をした人別・役銘・御擬作ともに取り調べるよう仰せ付けられ、飯笹七郎の次と一同で取り調べ、翌寅年八月、合計十冊を取り調べて差し上げた事。
一、同年十月、不時の御参府につき、立ち帰りのため（江戸へ）罷り登り、同十一月に罷り下った。

One entry: In the second month of the same 3rd year (Year of the Horse), in connection with an incident regarding a certificate (tegata) for the buying and selling of rice during his assignment under the austerity measures (o-shōryaku nin'yaku), both his stipend allotment (o-gisaku), half-salary (han-kyū), and official duties (o-yakugi) were revoked, and he was placed in the reserve status of ko-fushin (unpaid reserve).
One entry: In the twelfth month of the same 4th year (Year of the Sheep), in terms of seniority, he was appointed immediately below the head of the land survey officials (kenchi yakunin).
One entry: In the third month of the same 5th year (Year of the Monkey), his petition to change his name to Shichizaemon was granted.
One entry: In the tenth month of the same 7th year (Year of the Dog), he was appointed as a temporary hired official (tōza o-yatoi) of the Goyōsho (Administrative Office).
One entry: In the tenth month of the same 8th year (Year of the Boar), he was appointed as a full official (yakunin) of the Goyōsho.
One entry: In the sixth month of Tenmei 1 (Year of the Ox), he was ordered to investigate and compile the registers of persons (ninbetsu), official titles (yakunei), and stipend allotments (o-gisaku) of those who had been summoned by Lord Otakato Mogami and had accompanied him to Aizu. Together with Iizasa Shichirō and others, they completed the investigation, and in the eighth month of the following Year of the Tiger, submitted a total of ten volumes.
One entry: In the tenth month of the same year, on the occasion of an unexpected visit to the capital (Edo), he traveled up [to Edo] to accompany [the lord on his] return, and came back down in the eleventh month of the same year.
