現代語訳
・（前項に続き）そのようにするよう仰せ付けられた件。
・同四（卯）年九月、ならし（訓練・演習）の節に罷り出て、一夜の宿陣をいたした件。
・同五（辰）年正月、蝦夷地お固めのご用として出立し、唐太島（樺太）に着陣いたした。
ただし、出立の節、大書院において御目見えを仰せ付けられ、小書院において御流頂戴いたした件。
・同年九月、蝦夷地お固めのご用が済み帰着した節、大書院において御目見えを仰せ付けられた件。
・同年十二月、蝦夷地お固めのご用として罷り越した処、海路・陸路の往来をはじめ、当地において数日にわたり勤労いたした処、ご用が滞りなく相済み、残らず帰陣いたしたことにより、お城において御料理を下し置かれた件。
・同六（巳）年八月、蝦夷地お固めのご用を相勤め、勤労いたしたことにより、時服一つを下し置かれた件。
・同月、蝦夷地お固めのご用につき、道中の小荷駄の差配ならびに才判をいたしたことにより、費用補填として金一両を下し置かれた件。

· (Continuing from the previous entry) He was ordered to conduct himself accordingly.
· In the ninth month of the same fourth year (Year of the Rabbit), he turned out for training exercises and spent one night in camp.
· In the first month of the same fifth year (Year of the Dragon), he departed for duty in the defense of Ezo (Hokkaido), and arrived and established camp on Karafuto Island (Sakhalin).
Note: At the time of departure, he was granted an audience (o-memie) in the Great Drawing Room (Ōshoin), and received a cup of sake from the lord in the Small Drawing Room (Koshoin).
· In the ninth month of the same year, upon returning after completing his duty in the defense of Ezo, he was granted an audience in the Great Drawing Room.
· In the twelfth month of the same year, having traveled to fulfill his duty in the defense of Ezo, and having labored for a number of days there, including overseeing travel by both sea and land routes, and having completed his duties without delay with all troops returned to camp, he was granted a formal banquet (o-ryōri) at the castle in recognition of this.
· In the eighth month of the same sixth year (Year of the Snake), for having performed and labored in his duty in the defense of Ezo, he was granted one set of seasonal clothing (jifuku).
· In the same month, for having supervised the packhorse transport (konida) along the route and performed administrative duties (saihan) in connection with his Ezo defense duties, he was granted one ryō of gold as reimbursement for expenses.
