次に白馬を神庭に渡す《これも片岡社を先とする》
その儀式は、御厩別当が鶏鳴以前に神馬屋に到着し
龓以下の諸司を催促して一献の儀を行う。神人の催促により
龓が尻綱の役《神主の中間が勤める》を務め、白馬を牽いて
一の鳥居から橋本社南方に至る。この時田口が
受け取って石橋を渡し、楼門前から玉橋を渡って
片岡社において奏覧する。片岡橋を渡り、新宮の
門から東門に牽き入れる。板屏の辺りで氏人が受け取って
神前において奏覧し、立砂の間を経て馬頭を神前に向ける。
この時、御馬草上臈《小童女一人を用いる》が出てきて秣米《洗い
来たもの》《御櫃に盛り入れる。神主が沙汰する》を飼う。その後牽き下ろして中門から楼門に出て
玉橋・西脇橋等を渡し、二の鳥居から出行し、奈良の
橋を経て御厩に帰り入る
次に外陣の御供を元日の如く献上する
次に社司が神供の祝詞を申すこと常の如し
次に末社の社司が各々某社に向かい、内外の神供を備え進める
儀式は元日の如し
次に神主以下の詞官が若宮から片岡社まで小巡神拝を行う

Next, the white horse is brought across to the sacred courtyard (this also begins with Kataoka Shrine)
The ceremony proceeds as follows: the stable administrator arrives at the sacred horse stable before cockcrow and
summons various officials including the groom and below to perform the single offering ceremony. At the urging of shrine attendants,
the groom performs the role of tail rope handler (served by the head priest's attendant) and leads the white horse
from the first torii to the south of Hashimoto Shrine. At this time, Taguchi
receives it and leads it across the stone bridge, then from in front of the tower gate across the jeweled bridge
to present it at Kataoka Shrine. Crossing Kataoka Bridge, from the gate of the new shrine
it is led in through the eastern gate. Near the board screen, clan members receive it and
present it before the deity, passing through the standing sand area and turning the horse's head toward the divine presence.
At this time, the senior attendant of the sacred horse grass (employing one young girl) comes out to feed it with fodder rice (washed
rice) (placed in the sacred container, overseen by the head priest). Afterward, it is led down and exits through the middle gate to the tower gate,
crosses the jeweled bridge and western side bridge, exits through the second torii, and
returns to the stable via Nara Bridge
