[Right page] Voices are raised to advance the divine offerings before the deity. In response to these voices, the musicians play musical sounds. Next, the divine offerings are advanced in procession (including rice ears, sacred rice, sacred sake, prostrate rabbit offerings, bent-wood containers, rice cakes, five kinds of finned fish, various fish and birds, various fruits, various vegetables, etc.) Next, the Bettō-dayū offers horse provisions from the left and right sides of the stairs Next, each shrine official takes their position at the prayer seat below the stairs in order of rank (with one bow). However, the two officials of Kataoka proceed to Kataoka Shrine, while the Gon-negi and Gon-hafuri return to their original seats to await the head priest's seating Next, the prayer officials of the subsidiary shrines each proceed to their respective shrines, open the sacred doors, and arrange inner and outer divine offerings as at Kataoka Shrine Next, the daily offerings for the outer sanctuary are prepared (morning offerings, shaped rice cakes, carp from the Azumi River, various fish and birds, various fruits and vegetables as accompanying offerings, etc.) In this ceremony, the Gon-negi and Gon-hafuri advance and stand in line below the stairs (with one bow), the Gon-negi ascends to the great platform (with one bow) and immediately prepares the sacred offering tables (two legs) [Left page] Afterward, they prepare the eight-legged stands (two legs), then as the daily offerings are advanced in sequence, the shrine attendants play music before the deity as before, and both officials take their positions at the prayer seats during the offering presentation During this time, the two officials of Kataoka Shrine perform the opening of the sacred doors and the preparation of inner and outer divine offerings. At this time, the Yato-ne announces the earthenware vessel ritual in a loud voice. Hearing this voice, the assistant priest approaches the veranda of the transparent corridor and informs the head priest that the Kataoka prayers will be recited Next, the head priest and the five officials below him each rise, perform two bows, recite prayers, clap their hands, and perform two bows Next, the divine offerings of the outer sanctuary are removed (the sound of music as at the beginning) In this ceremony, the Gon-negi and hafuri rise from their prayer seats, and below the stairs (with one bow) ascend and advance as at the beginning, removing each offering one by one and returning to their original seats
