さゝこ
さゝたけ さゝもたし 《割書：陸州｜羽州》
菌史に載る図同書に
竹の小者（せうなるもの）さゝと名く此
菌多く小竹林中に生す
故に名く質（しつ）痩（やせ）脚（あし）長（なか）く面
灰白色にして摺白微韌
鮮美／香気（かうき）あり稍（やゝ）しめ
しに似て又純白黄色微
褐／淡赭（うすしや）色者あり七八
月多生／数茎（すうくき）簇生（そくせい）す
るものあり此以下前条
とは形（かたち）#1状大に遠（とおし）といへとも竹林
中に生する者故後に載す
現代語訳
【右丁 白紙】
ささこ
ささたけ ささもたし 《陸奥国、出羽国》
菌史に載せられている図と同じ。同書に
竹の小さなものを笹と名付ける。この
きのこは多く小竹の林の中に生える
ゆえにこの名がある。質は痩せており脚が長く、表面は
灰白色で擦ると白く、やや柔軟である。
鮮美で香気があり、やや占地
に似ており、また純白、黄色、やや
褐色、淡い赤褐色のものがある。七、八
月に多く生え、数本の茎が
群生するものがある。これ以下は前条
とは形状が大いに異なるけれども、竹林
中に生えるものゆえ後に記載する

Sasako
Sasatake Sasamotashi 《Rikushū (Mutsu Province), Ushū (Dewa Province)》
The illustration is the same as that recorded in the Kinshi (Mushroom Records). The same book states that
small bamboo is called sasa. This
mushroom often grows in groves of small bamboo,
hence its name. Its texture is thin with long stems, and the surface is
ash-white in color, turning white when rubbed, and somewhat flexible.
It is delicious and fragrant, somewhat resembling shimeji
mushrooms, and there are also pure white, yellow, slightly
brown, and light reddish-brown varieties. They grow abundantly in the seventh and eighth
months, with several stems
growing in clusters. What follows differs greatly in form from the previous entry,
but since they grow in bamboo groves, they are recorded here.
