精を出して働き、かねてより（職務に）深く踏み込んで適切に勤めてきたことにより、重い処遇ではあるが、独礼を仰せ付けられる旨、仰せ出された事。
一 同年二月、席は元〆方金銭請払雑用蔵役人の栗村治兵衛の次、御用人物書の篠沢儀右衛門の上に仰せ付けられた事。
一 同年七月、御上京につき御先御役の御用を仰せ付けられ（京都へ）上り、同年十月には大阪へ赴いて現地の御用を済ませ、同年十一月に江戸へ帰府した事。
一 同年十二月、常詰廻米役人を

Because he had diligently applied himself and had long been deeply engaged in his duties with distinction, it was decreed that, although it was a significant honor, he was to be granted the privilege of *dokurei* (the right to have a private audience with the lord).
One: In the second month of the same year, his seat in terms of rank was placed below Kurimura Jihei, the official in charge of miscellaneous cash receipts and disbursements under the *motojime* (financial administration), and above Shinozawa Giuemon, a secretary (*monokaki*) to the *goyōnin* (senior administrative official).
One: In the seventh month of the same year, on the occasion of the lord's journey to Kyoto, he was assigned to the advance guard duties, traveled up to Kyoto, and in the tenth month proceeded to Osaka to complete official business there, returning to Edo in the eleventh month of the same year.
One: In the twelfth month of the same year, he was appointed as a permanent (*jōtsume*) rice-transport official,

and was also assigned to concurrently serve as an assistant to the *motojime* (financial administrator).

One: In the eleventh month of the same year, he went on assignment for the duty of transporting rice shipments (*kaimai*), traveling down as far as Shirakawa.
One: In the twelfth month of Enkyō 3 (Year of the Tiger), he was appointed to the post of *motojime sashihiki* (accounts supervisor under the financial administrator), and was granted an increase of one *ryō* in official stipend, bringing the total to two *ryō* per appointment.
