社倉方の任役および堰堤新田方を兼務するよう命じられた。
一、同二年（戌年）三月、御改政（藩政改革）に際して、郷役所への出役を行い、意見・提案等を申し上げ、精励して務めたことにより、御褒美として銀五両を下し置かれた。
一、同三年（亥年）三月、小川庄の赤谷・綱木・瀧谷三ヶ村から新発田（しばた）への流木の出荷について、黒川領小戸村の者どもが妨害したという訴訟一件につき、公儀（幕府）への問い合わせの御用のため、江戸表へ上った。

一、同年十月、郡方吟味役を命じられ、独礼（どくれい）を許された。
一、同月、小割定数（こわりじょうすう）の金銭を郷役所にて取り立てることを命じられ、立会の上、吟味役の補佐として見届けるよう命じられた。
一、同五年（丑年）九月、このたびの湯川御普請は例年と異なり非常の御普請であるところ、精を出してよく取り計らったことにより、御酒を下し置かれた。
一、同六年（寅年）五月、小割定数の請払（受払い）の兼務を命じられた。

He was appointed to the role of *Shakura-kata* (granary management) and concurrently assigned to the *Heitei Shinden-kata* (embankment and new rice field administration).
One entry: In the third month of the second year of the same era (Year of the Dog), in connection with the domain administrative reforms (*go-kaisei*), he submitted opinions and proposals while serving on assignment at the rural district office (*gō-yakusho*), and for his diligent service, he was awarded five *ryō* of silver as a reward.
One entry: In the third month of the third year of the same era (Year of the Boar), concerning a dispute in which residents of Koto Village in the Kurokawa domain obstructed the transport of timber floated down from the three villages of Akaya, Tsunaki, and Takigaya in the Ogawa district toward Shibata, he traveled up to Edo on official business to make inquiries to the bakufu (central government).
