経千五十九歳、保子五十四歳、経紀二十九歳、継寛二十七歳、経啓二十四歳、千代蔵十三歳、秀子二十四歳、登志枝二歳。めでたい限りである。

御家門はこの度大いに省略することになり、来春の年始に向けて菱花葩重等の外は省略される。御膳向きは奥において献じられ、侍以上両役中等はこれまで年分扶持米二石ずつのところ返上し、御番扶持のみ下されることとなった。御近習以下は二石ずつのうち一石が停止されることとなった。ただし御読初、御書初は例年の如く、五つ肴、蓬莱等は例年通りである。
当季の払い高は銀で一貫八百二十六匁八分である。

Kyo was fifty-nine years old, Yasuko fifty-four, Kyoki twenty-nine, Tsuguhiro twenty-seven, Kyokei twenty-four, Chiyozo thirteen, Hideko twenty-four, and Toshie two years old. Most auspicious indeed.

The imperial household has decided on great economies this time, and for the coming spring New Year celebrations, all items except for hishihanabira-kasane and similar items will be omitted. The meals will be offered in the inner quarters, and the samurai and above, as well as both role-holders, who previously received two koku of annual stipend rice each, will return this and receive only guard duty stipends. For the close attendants and below, one koku out of their usual two koku will be suspended. However, the御読初 (first reading ceremony) and 御書初 (first calligraphy ceremony) will proceed as in previous years, and the five delicacies, Horai decorations, etc., will be as usual.
The total expenditure for this season amounts to 1,826 momme and 8 bu in silver.
