...was ordered to serve as the officer in charge of the lacquer wood division (*urushiki-kata*) of the accounts office (*Kanjōsho*).
- In the twelfth month of the same 8th year (Year of the Dragon), he was granted an audience (*o-me-mie*) and was appointed as a hired official (*o-yatoi*) of the administrative office (*Goyōsho*), ranking directly below Sōkawa Naoki, and above the junior clerks (*ko-yakunin*) of the accounts office.
- In the third month of the same 12th year (Year of the Monkey), having diligently served during Lord Sadaaki's residence in the domain, he was rewarded with three *ryō* of silver as a commendation.

- In the twelfth month of the same year, he was ordered to take charge of collecting, investigating, and compiling the monthly reports submitted by various sections into a single consolidated document.
- In the twelfth month of Kyōwa 1st year (Year of the Rooster, 1801), having diligently served as the officer in charge of the general amnesty (*taisha*) administrative duties, he was rewarded with 300 *hiki* in gold as a commendation.
