『千虫譜』に云う：「土蜂（どばち）は、野州（やしゅう）塩谷郡（しおやぐん）上塩原（かみしおばら）福和田戸村（ふくわだとむら）に温泉がある。すなわち、そこに生息するものである。」

The *Senchūfu* states: "The earth bee (*dobachi*) is found in Fukuwadato Village, Kamisio-bara, Shioya District, Yashū (present-day Tochigi Prefecture), where there is a hot spring. It is a creature that inhabits that area."
