治（ぢ）せざるときは救（すく）ふべからず医師（いしや）心得（こゝろう）へし
孕婦出痘の説
㜳妊（くわひにん）の痘（ほうさう）は至（いた）つて重（おも）きものなり只（たゝ）胎（たい）の堕（おち）さるようにするを肝要（かんよう）とす
もし腹中（はらのうち）に病（やま）ひなきものならは腹（はら）を按摩（あんま）して捫事（もむこと）を忌（い）むべし
四五日（やまあけ）のあいたに胎堕（りうざん）するものは療治（りやうぢ）によりて快愈（なほる）ものなり灌膿（ほんうみ）の
時（とき）に胎堕（たいおち）るものは甚（はなは）た逆（ぎやく）なり十日の後（のち）に胎（たい）おつれは亦（また）療治ありすへ
て胎堕（りうざん）するものは血熱（けつねつ）にあらす必（かなら）す気虚（ききよ）の症（しやう）なるか故（ゆゑ）に随分（すいぶん）気（き）を
補（おきな）ふ薬（くす）りを第一（たいいち）とすへし大人参（たいにんしん）を用（もち）ひてよろしつとめて禁忌（いみこと）を慎（つゝし）
むべし
巴豆丸薬を禁するの説

伯圜（はくくはん）八十一／論（ろんに）曰／腸胃（てうい）熱毒（ねつとく）あるものは是（これ）を下（くた）すべし又（また）飲食（のみくい）の停滞（とゝこほり）
あれば是（これ）を下（くた）すべし痘（ほうさう）の一症（いつしやう）は他（ほか）の病（やま）ひとちかひて内（うち）より外（そと）へ発（はつ）
すれは腹中（はらのうち）自（おのつか）ら空（むな）しくして内（うち）に物（もの）なし若（もし）謬（あやま）つて巴豆丸薬（はづくわんやく）の類（たくひ）を
用（もちゆ）れは内気（うちのき）を折（くち）き五／臓（ぞう）六／府（ふ）の気を下（くた）すによりて痘毒（たうどく）其（その）虚（きよ）に乗（しやう）

し近来（ちかころ）古方家（こはうか）とて妄（みた）りに巴豆丸（はづくわん）紫圓（しえん）の類（たくひ）を痘に用（もち）ひて人（ひと）を害（わさはい）
するをみるに何（いつ）れも溏泄（はらくたり）やますして瘡（ほうさう）紅色（あかみ）失（うせ）て白（しろ）くなり或（あるひ）は
灰色（はいいろ）になりて逆（きやく）に変（へん）するものあり是（これ）皆（みな）薬（くす）り人（ひと）を殺（ころ）す所（ところ）なり又（また）
順症（じゆんしやう）といへども妄（みた）りに下（くた）し薬（くす）りを用（もち）ひて膿（うみ）を妨（さまた）け遂（つひ）に凶逆（きやうぎやく）をい
たし救（すく）ふへからさるなりたとひ十人の内（うち）一人／快気（くわひき）なすものも後（のち）必（かなら）す

治療しないときは救うことができない。医師は心得るべきである。
妊婦出痘の説
妊娠中の痘瘡は極めて重篤なものである。ただ胎児が堕ちないようにすることを肝要とする。
もし腹中に病気がないものならば、腹を按摩して揉むことを避けるべきである。
四五日（発疹期）の間に流産するものは治療によって快癒するものである。灌膿の
時期に胎児が堕ちるものは甚だ逆症である。十日の後に胎児が落ちれば、また治療法がある。すべ
て流産するものは血熱ではなく必ず気虚の症状であるゆえに、随分気を
補う薬を第一とすべきである。大人参を用いてよろしい。努めて禁忌を慎む
べきである。
巴豆丸薬を禁する説
【左丁】
白圜八十一の論に曰く、腸胃に熱毒があるものはこれを下すべきである。また飲食の停滞
があればこれを下すべきである。痘瘡の一症は他の病気と違って内から外へ発
するので腹中自ずから空しくして内に物がない。もし誤って巴豆丸薬の類を
用いれば内気を折き、五臓六腑の気を下すことによって痘毒がその虚に乗
じて内に攻め入りて瘡が平陥（陥没）して膿を持たず、ついに凶逆をなすものが多
い。近来古方家といって妄りに巴豆丸や紫圓の類を痘に用いて人を害
するのを見るに、いずれも下痢が止まずして瘡の紅色が失せて白くなり、あるいは
灰色になって逆症に変するものがある。これは皆薬が人を殺すところである。また
順症といえども妄りに下し薬を用いて膿を妨げ、ついに凶逆を
いたし救うべからざるなり。たとえ十人のうち一人が快気なすものも後に必ず

On Smallpox in Pregnant Women
Smallpox during pregnancy is extremely severe. The key is simply to prevent the fetus from being aborted.
If there is no disease within the abdomen, one should avoid massaging and rubbing the belly.
Those who miscarry during the four to five days (eruption period) can be cured through treatment. When the fetus is aborted during the suppuration
period, this is extremely adverse. If the fetus falls after ten days, there are also treatments available. All
cases of miscarriage are not due to blood heat but are necessarily symptoms of qi deficiency, therefore one should
make qi-supplementing medicines the first priority. Great ginseng should be used appropriately. One must diligently observe
the prohibitions.

According to Hakukan's eighty-first treatise: when there is heat toxin in the intestines and stomach, this should be purged downward. Also, when there is stagnation of food and drink,
this should be purged downward. The single symptom of smallpox differs from other diseases in that it erupts
from inside to outside, so the abdomen naturally becomes empty with nothing inside. If one mistakenly
uses croton seed pills and similar medicines, they break the internal qi, and by purging the qi of the five organs and six viscera, smallpox toxin takes advantage of this deficiency
and attacks inward, causing the pustules to become flat and sunken without forming pus, ultimately resulting in many adverse outcomes.
Recently, so-called "classical formula practitioners" recklessly use croton pills and purple pills for smallpox, harming
people. In all cases, diarrhea does not stop, the pustules lose their red color and become white, or
turn gray and transform into adverse symptoms. All of these are cases where medicine kills people. Even in
favorable cases, recklessly using purgative medicines interferes with suppuration, ultimately causing adverse outcomes
