このようにして痘瘡後の諸症状（様々な病気）もまた起こることがあるので、発疹が少なく症状が軽くなければ、十二日目の酒湯を飲ませてよい。おおよそ初めから十日に至って、頭面（顔）の膿の色が豊満（充実）して黄・赤・黒色に発疹の頂部が光り潤沢として艶美しいものを良しとする。また口の周りから額にかけて痂皮ができ上がって一面に乾き、瘡痂が厚く、十一日目にしてこれを撫でてみると根が付かずして諸症状（病気）が穏やかなものならば、十二日に酒湯するのもよい。しかしながらもし内症（体内の病気）が穏やかでないものならば、必ず酒湯を飲ませてはならない。

Also, there are those who do not have proper pustule resolution and whose scab formation is often premature - one should not carelessly give sake decoction. One should fear that there will likely be sudden changes in the future.
First, having slight thirst and slight fever on the eleventh and twelfth days is normal for smallpox.
