絶すへき事
一 殉死の禁更に厳制を加ふる処なり或は徒党
を植或は誓約を結ふの如き妄に非義を行
ひて敢て憲法を犯すの類一切に厳禁すへ
き事
一 諸国散在の寺社領古より寄附の地等是を没
却する事をゆるさす新建の寺社に至て
は停止既に訖りといへとも若故ありて望請へ
き事あるに於ては

上裁を仰く事をゆるす且は耶蘇の厳禁
はいふに及はすたとひ古より流布の諸宗
たりといふとも或は新異の法を立て或は
妖妄の説を作りて愚俗を欺き惑はすの類
是又厳禁すへき事
右条々旧章に由りてこれを修飾す総教令
の及ふ所遠近一つによろしく遵行すへき者也

絶対に禁止すべき事
一 殉死の禁止についてはさらに厳しい制限を加えるところである。あるいは徒党
を組織し、あるいは誓約を結ぶようなことで、みだりに不正な行いをして
あえて法律を犯す類のことは一切厳禁すべき
こと
一 諸国に散在する寺社領で古くから寄付された土地等について、これを没収
することは許さない。新建の寺社については
建立停止は既に完了しているが、もし理由があって願い出る
ことがある場合は

上からの裁定を仰ぐことは許可する。また、キリスト教の厳禁
については言うまでもないが、たとえ古くから広まっている諸宗派
であっても、あるいは新たな異端の教えを立て、あるいは
怪しげで愚かな説を作って愚民を騙し惑わす類の
ことについても、これまた厳禁すべきこと
右の条文は旧来の法令に基づいてこれを整備したものである。全て教令
の及ぶところ、遠近を問わず一様に遵守すべきものである

Article: Regarding the prohibition of junshi (following one's lord in death), even stricter regulations are to be imposed. Activities such as forming factions or making sworn pacts, recklessly engaging in wrongful conduct and daring to violate the laws - all such acts shall be strictly prohibited.
Article: Concerning temple and shrine lands scattered throughout the provinces, and lands that have been donated since ancient times - confiscation of these shall not be permitted. As for newly constructed temples and shrines,

construction has already been halted, but if there are justified reasons for petitions, permission to seek higher judgment is granted. Furthermore, regarding the strict prohibition of Christianity, this goes without saying, but even for Buddhist sects that have spread since ancient times, if they establish new heretical teachings or create delusional doctrines to deceive and mislead the ignorant populace, such activities are also to be strictly prohibited.
The above articles have been compiled and refined based on existing laws. All educational decrees that extend throughout the realm, both near and far, should be uniformly observed.
