一 同日 今度八重姫君様が水戸少将（吉孚）様との縁組が仰せ出されたため、
先例の通り御肴を献上したい旨を本多孫太郎（長負）より伺い出たので、老中へ
伺いを立てて献上すべき旨を家老酒井興三左衛門（元宣）より指図があった
一 同月（日付不詳） 今度八重姫君様へ水戸少将（吉宇）様より結納が遣わされたため、
道中より祝いのため江戸表へ使者を派遣された

- On May 3rd, for the celebration of Boys' Day (Tango no Sekku), through an envoy, summer garments (katabira and hitoe) were presented as customary, and silver was offered to the Shogun's wife (Odai-sama) and Keishoin-sama.
- On the 12th of the same month, [Lord Yoshishina] arrived at Fukui Castle.
However, although meals were customarily provided to all retainers in the entourage each year, this was discontinued from this year due to economic austerity measures.
- On the 14th, similarly for expressing gratitude, an envoy Takamoto Tosho (Dochu) was dispatched to Edo, departing from Fukui as scheduled to leave yesterday.
- On the same day, since the betrothal of Princess Yae to the Mito Lieutenant General (Yoshitomo) was announced, Honda Magotaro (Nagaou) requested to present ceremonial fish as per precedent, and Chief Retainer Sakai Kyozaemon (Motonobu) instructed that this should be done after consulting with the senior councillors.
- On the same month (date unclear), since betrothal gifts were sent from the Mito Lieutenant General (Yoshiie) to Princess Yae, an envoy was dispatched from the journey to Edo to offer congratulations.
