一 五月十八日今度《割書：去六｜日》越後守《割書：光｜長》様御隠居備前守《割書：宣｜富》様江御家督
《割書：三万｜俵》被 仰出候ニ付為御礼江戸表江御書被指出之
一 同月廿五日坂井郡之内白方村波寄村之 公領米納津村之地御
論有之江戸表江及出訴候処今日於御評定所双方江左之通
御裁許書被相渡之
越前国坂井郡米納村与同郡白方村波寄村沼論
之事米納津村百姓訴候ハ従前之致魚猟運上収
来候処白方波寄両村之者沼江作毛植出候由申之白
方波寄両村百姓答候ハ沼干上り次第作毛植立候由
申之遂糺明処沼ハ白方波寄両村之雖為地内
米納津村百姓証文数通致所持運上米納津村地
頭江収来上ハ白方波寄両村百姓申処非分ニ候向後
白方波寄両村百姓沼江作毛不可植出之仍為後
証如此双方江書下間不可違犯者也

ただし同月十八日に返書が渡された
一 五月十八日 このたび（去る六日に）越後守（光長）様が隠居され、備前守（宣富）様に家督（三万俵）が仰せ出されたため、御礼として江戸表へ書状を差し出された
一 同月二十五日 坂井郡内の白方村・波寄村の公領と米納津村の土地について争論があり、江戸表に訴訟を起こしていたところ、今日評定所において双方に左の通り裁許書が渡された
越前国坂井郡米納村と同郡白方村・波寄村の沼に関する争論について
米納津村の百姓が訴えるには、以前から魚猟の運上を収めてきたところ、白方・波寄両村の者が沼に作物を植え出したと申している
白方・波寄両村の百姓が答えるには、沼が干上がり次第作物を植え立てたと申している
調査を遂げたところ、沼は白方・波寄両村の地内であるけれども、
米納津村の百姓が証文数通を所持しており、運上を米納津村の地頭へ納めてきた以上は、白方・波寄両村の百姓の申すところは筋違いである。今後
白方・波寄両村の百姓は沼に作物を植え出してはならない。よって後の
証拠としてこのように双方に書き下すものであり、違犯してはならない

However, a reply letter was delivered on the 18th of the same month.
- On May 18th, since Echigo-no-kami (Mitsukatsu) retired and the family headship (30,000 hyō) was granted to Bizen-no-kami (Nobutomi) (on the 6th), a letter was sent to Edo as an expression of gratitude.
- On the 25th of the same month, there was a land dispute between the public domain of Shirakata Village and Hayori Village in Sakai District and the land of Komenōtsu Village, which had been brought to court in Edo. Today, at the Council Chamber (Hyōjōsho), the following judgment was delivered to both parties:
Regarding the pond dispute between Komenō Village and Shirakata Village and Hayori Village, both in Sakai District, Echizen Province:
The farmers of Komenōtsu Village claim that they have been collecting fishing fees from before, but the people of Shirakata and Hayori villages say they have planted crops in the pond.
The farmers of Shirakata and Hayori villages respond that they planted crops as soon as the pond dried up.
Upon investigation, although the pond is within the territory of Shirakata and Hayori villages,
since the farmers of Komenōtsu Village possess several proof documents and have been paying fees to the land steward of Komenōtsu Village, the claims of the farmers of Shirakata and Hayori villages are unreasonable. Henceforth,
the farmers of Shirakata and Hayori villages shall not plant crops in the pond. Therefore, as future
evidence, this judgment is written down for both parties, and must not be violated.
