一 七月十二日、御用番土屋相模守政直殿へ御使者として御留守居村上三太夫正峰を派遣した。江戸城本丸北の方の御堀で水に浸食された石垣一ヶ所の修復を行いたい旨、絵図面を添えて伺いを立てた。
一 同月十八日、使者を通じて例年通り国産の初鱈を献上した。
一 同月二十一日、御用番土屋相模守政直殿からの呼び出しにより御留守居が出向いたところ、去る十二日に提出した江戸城周辺石垣修復の願いについて、老中連名の奉書が渡された。
「越前国福井城の本丸北の方の堀で、水に浸食された石垣一ヶ所が損傷したため修補したい旨、絵図面の通り承知した。元の通りに普請を行うように。恐々謹言

一 同日、端午の祝儀献上についての内書が江戸城で渡された。

One: On the 12th day of the 7th month, an envoy, the keeper of the residence Murakami Santadayū Masamine, was sent to the duty magistrate Tsuchiya Sagami-no-kami Masanao. A request was made with accompanying drawings to repair one section of stone wall in the moat on the north side of the main keep of Edo Castle that had been eroded by water.
One: On the 18th day of the same month, the first cod of the season, a local product, was presented as tribute through an envoy as customary.
One: On the 21st day of the same month, the keeper of the residence went out in response to a summons from the duty magistrate Tsuchiya Sagami-no-kami Masanao, where he received an official letter signed jointly by the senior councilors regarding the request for stone wall repair around Edo Castle submitted on the 12th.
"Regarding the request to repair one damaged section of stone wall eroded by water in the moat on the north side of the main keep of Fukui Castle in Echizen Province, we acknowledge as shown in the drawings. Construction should be carried out to restore it to its original state. Respectfully submitted.
