一　同月十三日、御帰国御礼の御使者斎藤酒之亟定員が御城へ参上した
　　ところ、御返書の御渡しがあり、その際酒之亟へ御時服拝領を仰せ付けられた

一　同月二十日、当春大目付中より渡された書付について諸国に立て添えることになったため、
　　板取二ツ屋から細呂木までの往還の駅々並びに三国新保広瀬今泉へ
　　左の通り掲示した

　　　　　　　　　人身売買をますます堅く禁止する。召し使いの下人男女ともに

一　同月二十一日、御書を以て例の通り御国産初鱈を献上した

一　八月朔日、御祝儀のため御使者を以て例の通り御太刀馬代を献上した

一　同月九日、月次の御機嫌伺いのため江戸表へ御使者を派遣した。
　　御肴一種を献上した。右の御使者は今日福井を出立した
　　　　　　ただし同月二十二日に御返書の御渡しがあった

一　同日、御鷹狩のため吉江へ御出かけになった（同十四日に御帰殿）

1. Same month, 13th, messenger Saitō Sakenojō Sadakazu for thanking [the shogun] for [the lord's] return to the domain went to the castle, where he was presented with a reply letter, and on that occasion Sakenojō was granted the honor of receiving ceremonial clothing.

1. Same month, 20th, regarding the written notice received from the ōmetsuke this spring, it was to be posted in various provinces, so the following was posted at the post stations along the highway from Itadori Futsuya to Hosorogi, as well as at Mikuni, Shimpo, Hirose, and Imaizumi:

　　　　　　　　　Human trafficking is strictly prohibited. Regarding male and female servants,
　　　　　　　　　although their term of service is limited to ten years,
　　　　　　　　　henceforth there shall be no time limit on service terms, and hereditary employment
　　　　　　　　　shall be subject to mutual agreement.

　　　　　　　　　Such is the intent. Therefore, as stated herein.

1. Same month, 21st, by letter, the first cod of the season from the domain was offered as usual.

1. August 1st, for congratulations, ceremonial swords and horse substitutes were offered through messengers as usual.

1. Same month, 9th, a messenger was dispatched to Edo to make the monthly inquiry after [the shogun's] well-being. One type of fish delicacy was offered. The aforementioned messenger departed Fukui today.
However, a reply letter was presented on the 22nd of the same month.

1. Same day, [the lord] went out to Yoshie for falconry (returned to the palace on the 14th of the same month).
