仰せ出されたため、お礼として老中へ使者を派遣された。
一、閏二月十八日、本所緑町で出火があったため出馬され、かつお家来の者が消火にあたった旨を、御用番戸田山城守忠昌殿へ使者を通じてお達しがあった。
一、同月十九日、先だって国絵図を提出するよう仰せ出された際、先年に差し上げた絵図をお貸しくださる旨が申し渡されたため、今日評定所へ御留守居松原善左衛門矩成を派遣し、先年に指し上げた国絵図の拝借の件をお達ししたところ、追って渡すとの旨を申し聞かされた。
一、同月二十六日、歳暮のお祝儀のご献上について内書が城中にて渡され、お家来の拝領物等は例の通りであった。
一、三月五日、先だってから監物様がご体調不良で、お差し控えがあり、長引かれる様子のため、松平庄兵衛正恒を当秋まで江戸表にお残しになり、酒井典膳知房にお迎えのため出府するよう仰せ付けられた。
一、同月十三日、御側用人へ書講談御拝聴の御願いを申し入れられた。
一、同月二十八日、浄光院において、昨二十七日の暁から今朝まで青池院様二十七回忌の御法事を執行され、天徳寺においても布与姫様の御法事が執行された。
一、四月十日、御側御用人へ出向かれ、御講談御拝聴の御願いを申し入れられた。

[This was] proclaimed, and in gratitude, an envoy was sent to the Rōjū.
1. 18th day of intercalary 2nd month: Due to a fire in Honjo Midori-chō, [Lord Yoshishina] dispatched troops, and his retainers assisted in extinguishing the fire. This was reported through an envoy to the duty Rōjū Toda Yamashiro-no-Kami Tadamasa.
1. 19th day of the same month: Following the earlier order to submit provincial maps, it was conveyed that the maps submitted in previous years could be borrowed. Today, Rusuii Matsubara Zenzaemon Norinari was sent to the Hyōjōsho to request the borrowing of the provincial maps previously submitted, and was informed that they would be provided later.
1. 26th day of the same month: Regarding the New Year congratulatory offerings, an naishō (private letter) was delivered at the castle, and the retainers' rewards followed the usual practice.
1. 5th day of the 3rd month: Since Lord Kenmotsu had been unwell for some time and was indisposed with his condition appearing to be prolonged, Matsudaira Shōbei Masatsune was ordered to remain in Edo until autumn, while Sakai Tenzen Tomofusa was commanded to come to Edo as his replacement.
1. 13th day of the same month: Submitted a request to the Goyō-nin for an audience to hear sho-kōdan (book lectures).
1. 28th day of the same month: At Jōkō-in, from dawn of yesterday the 27th until this morning, the 27th memorial service for Lord Seichi-in was conducted. At Tentoku-ji as well, a memorial service was conducted for Princess Fuyo.
1. 10th day of the 4th month: Visited the Goyō-nin and requested an audience to hear lectures.
