一、同八未年（寛政八年・1796年）正月二日、七十四歳にて病死。法名は期安際限居士。葬所は同上。
【勝四郎光時】 《延享二丑年（1745年）閏十二月五日誕生》
母は同上（前記に同じ）。
一、寛政元酉年（1789年）三月、かねてより風俗が甚だよろしくないとの話が聞こえており、不届きであるとお思い召しになり、他国へ追い払うことを仰せ付けられた事。
一、同二戌年（1790年）七月、願いの通り、お国への出入りをお許しいただいた事。
一、文化十酉年（1813年）三月、相州三崎（現・神奈川県三浦市）の外様士御雇として勤めることを仰せ付けられ、三人扶持を下し置かれ、原田又助組にて御台場の御番を勤めた事。
一、同十三子年（1816年）十月、当春、豆州下田（現・静岡県下田市）へ異国船が漂流した際、一同心がけが良く、素早く用意を整えたことが仰せ出された事。
但し、この後、異国船が漂流するたびに、御固め並びに御台場の大砲打ち手を勤めたことにより、それぞれお褒めをいただいた事。

One: On the 2nd day of the 1st month of the 8th year of the same era [Kansei 8, i.e., 1796], he died of illness at the age of 74. His posthumous Buddhist name (hōmyō) was Kian Saigen Koji. His place of burial is the same as stated above.

One: In the 3rd month of Kansei 1 (1789), Year of the Rooster, it had long been heard that his conduct and behavior were exceedingly improper. Finding this to be an outrage, [the domain authorities] ordered that he be banished to another domain.
One: In the 7th month of Kansei 2 (1790), Year of the Dog, in accordance with his petition, he was graciously permitted to re-enter the domain.
One: In the 3rd month of Bunka 10 (1813), Year of the Rooster, he was appointed to serve as a hired retainer (o-yatoi) of the tozama [outside] domain at Misaki in Sagami Province (present-day Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture), was granted a stipend of three persons' worth of rice rations (san-nin fuchi), and served guard duty at the gun battery (odaiba) under the command of Harada Matasuke's unit.
One: In the 10th month of Bunka 13 (1816), Year of the Rat, it was proclaimed that during the previous spring, when a foreign ship drifted ashore at Shimoda in Izu Province (present-day Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture), all personnel showed admirable diligence and prepared swiftly and effectively.
Note: After this, each time a foreign ship drifted into the area, he served in the coastal defense and as a large-cannon gunner at the gun battery, and was commended accordingly on each occasion.
