但此後馬揃共ニ七度罷出候事

並列伍之次第宜相揃兼而内稽古等

五郎左衛門光貫（初名は良之助、また常八。明和元年甲申年正月二十九日誕生）
実父は佐藤覚右衛門信庸の長男
妻は萱野右兵衛長英の娘
一、安永三年午年三月、親の願いの通り、初めてのお目見えを仰せ付けられた。
一、天明二年寅年三月、跡式として御知行百石を相違なく下し置かれ、山崎左助組にて御城御番を勤めた。
一、寛政元年酉年九月、頭（組頭）の山崎左助が御役を召し上げられたことにより、後任の組頭として梶原平馬組に移ることとなった。
一、同五年丑年九月、追鳥狩に罷り出た。
但し、この後、馬揃と合わせて七度罷り出た。
一、同六年寅年四月、去る秋の追鳥狩の節、足並みを揃えて隊列を組む次第が宜しく整い、かねてより内稽古等に出精していたことによるものと思し召されたる旨、組一同御称美を下された。

1. In the 3rd month of Anei 3 (1774), the Year of the Horse, in accordance with his father's petition, he was granted his first formal audience with the lord.
1. In the 3rd month of Tenmei 2 (1782), the Year of the Tiger, he was granted, without any discrepancy, an inherited stipend of 100 koku, and served as castle guard within Yamazaki Sasuke's unit.
1. In the 9th month of Kansei 1 (1789), the Year of the Rooster, as the unit commander Yamazaki Sasuke was relieved of his post, he was consequently transferred to Kajiwara Heima's unit as its successor.
1. In the 9th month of Kansei 5 (1793), the Year of the Ox, he participated in the falconry hunt (Oitorigari).
Note: After this occasion, he participated a total of seven times, including the mounted troop reviews (Umazoroi).
1. In the 4th month of Kansei 6 (1794), the Year of the Tiger, it was recognized that during the previous autumn's falconry hunt, his unit's marching formation and ranks were well-ordered, which was deemed to be the result of his diligent private training and preparation beforehand; accordingly, the entire unit received commendation.
