ゆるうちに。神心（しん〴〵）を補益（おぎな）ひ。脾胃（ひゐ）を調（とゝの）へ。自（おのづ）から逆上（きやくじやう）をしづめ。天然（てんねん）
と本心（ほんしん）にたちかへらしむ神薬（くすり）ゆゑ。狂気乱心（きやうきらんしん）の人にもちひ。こと〳〵く
神効（しるし）ありて。且（かつ）て害（がい）あることなし。実（しつ）に奇妙（きめう）の神剤（くすり）なり。此／神薬（くすり）は
予（よ）が一家（いつか）の秘方（ひはう）にて売薬（ばいやく）にせず。此故（このゆゑ）に表看板（おもてかんばん）にも出（いだ）さず。産／後（ご）の
乱心（らんしん）の因（ちな）みに茲（こゝ）に誌（しる）すのみ。世（よ）に乱心狂気（きちがひ）にて捨（すてら）れる人。また困（こま）る

其症（そのせう）により加減（かげん）ありて大事（だいじ）なれば心（こゝろ）にまかせず。若（もし）知音（ちゐん）に乱心（らんしん）の
人あらば。実（じつ）に人助（ひとだすけ）なれば早（はや）くしらせたまへ。用（もち）ひ度（たき）方（かた）は製薬（せいやく）いたし

○ 生児（うまれこ）心得（こゝろえ）の事
出産（しゆつさん）の節（せつ）。産科産婆（さんいしやとりあげばゞ）ともに。産婦（はゝおや）を大切（たいせつ）と主（おも）一に先（まつ）産婦（はゝ）に打（うち）
かゝり居（ゐ）て産児（うぶこ）のことは後（のち）になるものなり。尤（もつとも）母（はゝ）を大切（たいせつ）にするは
左（さ）もあるべく。悪（あし）きといふにはあらず。其（その）ときは傍（てあき）の人（ひと）兼（かね）てより心得（こゝろえ）
居（ゐ）て。産児（うぶこ）の初声（はつこゑ）あぐるまてに。布（ぬの）か紗（しや）の裂（きれ）を指先（ゆびさき）に巻（まき）
て。早（はや）く産児（うぶこ）の口中（こうちう）をよく拭取（ぬぐひとる）べし。小児（せうに）母（はゝ）の胎内（たいない）を出（いづ）るとき。
口（くち）のうちに含（ふく）みたる穢毒（けがれもの）。初声（はつこゑ）に応（わう）じ咽（のんど）に入（い）り。右腎包絡（うじんはうらく）に
しづみ。疹痘（はうさうはしか）小瘡（くさ）白（しら）くぼ。其外種物（そのほかしゆもつ）の害（がい）をなすと。大成（たいせい）
論（ろん）に見えたり。出生（しゆつしやう）して間（ま）なく。大便黒（だいべんくろ）き飴（あめ）のやうなるを通（つう）ず
俗（ぞく）にかにばゞとも。かにこくともいふ。これは産（うま）れざる先（さき）に。母（はゝ）の胎内（たいない）
にて受（うけ）たる胎毒（たいどく）なれば。随分（ずいぶん）沢山（たくさん）に通（つう）ずるがよし。乳（ちゝ）をつくる
までに。甘草（かんざう）目方（めかた）弐匁五分。皮（かは）をさりきざみ炙（あぶ）り。水壱合入
三分めに煎（せん）じ綿（わた）にひたし壱弐ふく用（もち）ゆれば。胎毒（たいどく）のこらす
現代語訳
ゆるうちに、精神を補益し、脾胃を調え、自然と逆上を鎮め、天然と本心に立ち返らせる神薬であるため、狂気乱心の人に用い、ことごとく神効があって、かつて害があることはない。実に奇妙な神薬である。この神薬は私の一家の秘方であって売薬にはせず、この故に表看板にも出さず、産後の乱心に因んでここに記すのみである。世に乱心狂気で捨てられる人、また困る人は少なくない。広く施薬して人々に知らせたく思う心は切なれど、その症状により加減があって大事なれば心にまかせず。もし知人に乱心の人があれば、実に人助けなれば早く知らせてもらいたい。用いたい方は製薬いたし差し上げるので、その容体を申し越すべし。
○ 新生児心得の事
出産の節、産科医・産婆ともに、産婦を大切とし主に先ず産婦に打ちかかっており、産児のことは後になるものなり。もっとも母を大切にするのはもっともで、悪いというわけではない。そのときは手の空いている人が兼ねてより心得ており、産児の初声を上げるまでに、布か紗の裂を指先に巻いて、早く産児の口中をよく拭き取るべし。小児が母の胎内を出るとき、口の中に含んでいる穢物、初声に応じ咽に入り、右腎包絡に沈み、疹痘・小瘡・白くぼ、その外種々の害をなすと大成論に見えている。出生してまもなく、大便が黒い飴のようなものを通ず。俗にかにばば、またはかにこくという。これは生まれる前に母の胎内で受けた胎毒なれば、随分沢山に通ずるがよし。乳を飲ませるまでに、甘草目方二匁五分、皮を去りきざみ炙り、水一合入れ三分目に煎じ、綿にひたし一、二服用いれば、胎毒が残らず

○ Matters concerning care of newborns
During childbirth, both obstetricians and midwives consider the mother most important and primarily focus on the mother first, with the newborn's care coming later. Of course, prioritizing the mother is reasonable and not wrong. At that time, people who are free should be prepared in advance, and before the newborn's first cry, they should wrap cloth or gauze around their fingertip and quickly wipe clean the newborn's mouth. When a child emerges from the mother's womb, the impurities contained in the mouth enter the throat in response to the first cry, settle in the right kidney and pericardium, and cause harm through measles, smallpox, chickenpox, and various other diseases, as seen in the Daiseiren medical text.
