現代語訳
（前頁より続き）勤番を勤め、帰国した。
一、明暦二申年（1656年）十月、江戸へ勤番のため上京し、一陣を勤めて帰国した。
一、万治二亥年（1659年）六月、願い出の通り、御役を免じられ、寄合組に仰せ付けられた。
一、同三子年（1660年）四月、御番代の願いを申し上げたところ、直ちに隠居を仰せ付けられた。
一、寛文五巳年（1665年）九月二十一日、七十五歳にて病死。法名は巌翁宗伝居士。葬所は万松山天寧寺。

One entry: In the 10th month of Meireki 2, the year of the Monkey (1656), he went up to Edo for duty rotation, served one tour, and returned home.
One entry: In the 6th month of Manji 2, the year of the Boar (1659), as he had petitioned, he was relieved of his official post and assigned to the Yoriai-gumi (a reserve/retired samurai group).
One entry: In the 4th month of the 3rd year of the same era, the year of the Rat (1660), he submitted a petition for a duty rotation replacement, upon which he was immediately ordered to retire.
One entry: On the 21st day of the 9th month of Kanbun 5, the year of the Snake (1665), he died of illness at the age of seventy-five. His posthumous Buddhist name was Gangō Sōden Koji. His burial place is Tenninji Temple at Banshōzan.
