現代語訳

一、同三午年(元禄三年・1690年)十月、独礼を仰せ付けられた。 一、同四未年(元禄四年・1691年)十一月、願いの通り御役を免じられた。 一、同十五午年(元禄十五年・1702年)二月、吟味所改役を仰せ付けられた。   但し、存じ寄りを書付をもって申し上げたところ、御称美をいただいた。 一、同年四月、三石一人扶持の御加増をいただいた。 一、同十六未年(元禄十六年・1703年)九月、吟味所改役を止められ、そのまま直ちに御賄頭を仰せ付けられた。   但し、この勤務の間に江戸勤番の御陣を勤めた。 一、宝永三戌年(1706年)十二月、五石の御加増をいただいた。 一、同七寅年(宝永七年・1710年)二月、御代官を仰せ付けられ、格式はこれまで通りとし、奉行中の支配に仰せ付けられた。   但し、後任が仰せ付けられるまでは、只今

- In the 10th month of the 3rd year of Genroku (Genroku 3, the Year of the Horse, 1690), he was granted the rank of dokurei (the privilege of a private audience with the domain lord). - In the 11th month of the 4th year of Genroku (Genroku 4, the Year of the Sheep, 1691), he was relieved of his official post as he had requested. - In the 2nd month of the 15th year of Genroku (Genroku 15, the Year of the Horse, 1702), he was appointed to the post of gimisho aratame-yaku (inspector of the inquiry office).   Note: He submitted a written memorandum of his observations and suggestions, for which he received official commendation from his superiors. - In the 4th month of the same year, he was granted an increase in stipend of 3 koku and 1 person's ration allowance (hitori-fuchi). - In the 9th month of the 16th year of Genroku (Genroku 16, the Year of the Sheep, 1703), his post as gimisho aratame-yaku was discontinued, and he was immediately appointed to the post of omakanaigashira (head of the provisions/catering office).   Note: During this period of service, he also performed duty at the Edo garrison (kinban ojin). - In the 12th month of the 3rd year of Hōei (Hōei 3, the Year of the Dog, 1706), he was granted an increase in stipend of 5 koku. - In the 2nd month of the 7th year of Hōei (Hōei 7, the Year of the Tiger, 1710), he was appointed as odaikan (district magistrate/intendant), with his rank and status remaining as before, and was placed under the authority of the bugyō (magistrates).
