老中まで伺いを立てたところ、使者を以て献上するようにとの指図があった。
一、八月六日 御台様が昨日五日夜に逝去された（御法号 高巌院様）ため、お悔やみのために老中、若年寄中および酒井河内守忠挙殿へ使者を派遣した。
一、同日 右同様の理由により、公方様の御機嫌をお伺いするため登城した。
ただし、右同様の理由により翌七日も登城があった。
一、同月八日 公方様の御忌中につき、御機嫌をお伺いするため使者を派遣した。
ただし、右同様の理由により十二日まで毎日使者を派遣した。

When inquiry was made to the rōjū (senior councilors), instructions were given to make the offering through an envoy.
1. On the 6th day of the 8th month: Since Midaidokoro-sama (the Shogun's wife) passed away last night on the 5th (posthumous Buddhist name: Kōgan'in-sama), envoys were dispatched to the rōjū, wakadoshiyori (junior councilors), and Sakai Kawachi-no-kami Tadataka for condolences.
