現代語訳
重陽の祝儀の献上について御内書が御老中から渡された。
その際、又兵衛（彦坂又兵衛）に御時服の拝領が仰せ付けられた。
「重陽の祝儀として小袖五着が到来し、喜ばしく思う。
詳細は酒井雅楽頭が申し述べるであろう。」

一、十一月十八日 精進明けにつき使者を以て例の通り御肴（鯛二尾）を献上した。
一、同日 使者酒井孫四郎元宣を京都に派遣し、清姫様への結納として
御小袖（代銀百枚）、綿百把、帯二筋、鶴二羽、昆布（二十把）一折、鯣（二十連）一折、鯛（十二尾）一折、
鱈（十二尾）一折、御樽五荷を進上した。右の祝儀として飛鳥井大納言雅章殿へ金
馬代、御小袖三重、昆布（二十把）一折、鯣（二十連）一折、鯛（二尾）一折、御樽二荷を進上した。
昌親様から清姫様へ勝鬘紙五十帖、昆布（二十把）一折、鯣（二十連）一折、
御樽一荷、大納言殿へ金馬代、昆布（二十把）一折、干鯛（二十尾）一折、御樽一荷を
進上した。万姫様から清姫様へ縮緬（紅白）十巻、昆布（二十把）一折、雉子（三番）
一折、御樽一荷、大納言殿へ昆布（二十把）一折、鯉（二尾）一折、御樽一荷を進上した。
孫四郎は福井を出立した。

An imperial letter regarding the献上 (献上 = presentation of gifts) for the Chrysanthemum Festival celebration was delivered by the council of elders.
On that occasion, Matahei (Hikosaka Matahei) was granted the honor of receiving ceremonial clothing.
"We are pleased to receive five kosode robes as gifts for the Chrysanthemum Festival celebration.

1. November 18th: For the end of the period of abstinence, ceremonial fish (two sea bream) were presented through an envoy as usual.
1. Same day: Envoy Sakai Magoshirō Motonobu was dispatched to Kyoto, presenting betrothal gifts to Lady Kiyohime:
kosode robes (equivalent to 100 silver pieces), 100 bundles of cotton, two obi sashes, two cranes, one package of kelp (20 bundles), one package of dried squid (20 strings), one package of sea bream (12 fish), one package of cod (12 fish), and five loads of sake barrels. As celebration gifts to Dainagon Asukainomiya Masaaki: gold representing a horse, three layers of kosode robes, one package of kelp (20 bundles), one package of dried squid (20 strings), one package of sea bream (2 fish), and two loads of sake barrels.
From Lord Masachika to Lady Kiyohime: 50 booklets of fine paper, one package of kelp (20 bundles), one package of dried squid (20 strings), one load of sake barrels; to the Dainagon: gold representing a horse, one package of kelp (20 bundles), one package of dried sea bream (20 fish), one load of sake barrels.
