但右御献上ニ付而之捻御奉書以後同様ニ付不記之
一 十二月廿日 御前髪被為 執度ニ付渡辺大隅守《割書：綱｜貞》殿を以御老中
稲葉美濃守《割書：正｜則》殿迄御伺被成候処御勝手次第被成候様御指図有之
一 同月廿二日為歳暮御祝儀本多孫太郎《割書：長｜員》初御家老御城代并
大名分之面々ゟ御小袖御肴等献上之
但御家来ゟ歳暮御祝儀献上之儀以後定例故不記之
一 同日 御前髪被為 執御祝儀有之於 御座之間飯田主米《割書：安｜成》
本多左兵衛《割書：道｜重》斎藤半左衛門江御料理御相伴被 仰付其余御医師迄
御長蚫被下之
一 同日右同断ニ付為御祝儀御使仙石権右衛門《割書：高｜成》を以
昌親様江二種被進之
一 同月廿九日《割書：六半｜時》為歳暮御祝儀 御登 城御礼被 仰上相済
御退座之上来年始御礼 御先代之通御白書院
御着座御相伴被 仰出候旨御老中御達有之

国元の鱈三匹を献上された件について披露したところ、誠に
結構な御仕合いである。恐々謹言

一、十二月二十日 御前髪を執り行いたい旨について渡辺大隅守綱貞殿を通じて御老中
稲葉美濃守正則殿まで伺いを立てたところ、御勝手次第に執り行うよう御指図があった
一、同月二十二日 歳暮の御祝儀として本多孫太郎長員をはじめ御家老・御城代ならびに
大名分の面々から御小袖・御肴等が献上された
ただし御家来からの歳暮御祝儀献上の件は以後定例故記載せず
一、同日 御前髪執りの御祝儀があり、御座之間において飯田主米安成・
本多左兵衛道重・斎藤半左衛門に御料理の御相伴を仰せ付けられ、その余御医師まで
御長蚫を下された
一、同日 右同様につき御祝儀として御使者仙石権右衛門高成を以て
昌親様に二種を進上した
一、同月二十九日（六時半）歳暮の御祝儀として登城し御礼を申し上げ相済み、
御退座の上、来年始めの御礼は先代の通り御白書院での
御着座御相伴を仰せ出される旨、御老中より御達しがあった
一、同月晦日 歳暮の御祝儀として先代の通り御使者を以て御小袖（五）

1. December 20th: Regarding the desire to perform the coming-of-age ceremony (cutting of the forelock), an inquiry was made through Watanabe Osumi-no-kami Tsunasada to Senior Councilor Inaba Mino-no-kami Masanori, and instructions were given to proceed at [the lord's] convenience.
1. December 22nd: For year-end congratulations, Honda Magotaro Naganori and other senior retainers, castle deputies, and those of daimyo rank presented silk garments, delicacies, and other gifts.
Note: Year-end congratulatory presentations from retainers are not recorded hereafter as they became routine.
1. Same day: There was a celebration for the coming-of-age ceremony. In the main audience chamber, Iida Shume Yasunari, Honda Sahyoe Michishige, and Saito Hanzaemon were invited to dine [with the lord], and abalone was bestowed upon the others up to the physicians.
1. Same day: For the same celebration, envoy Sengoku Gonemon Takanari was sent to present two types [of gifts] to Lord Masachika.
1. December 29th (6:30): [The lord] went to the castle for year-end congratulations, completed the formal thanks, and upon withdrawal, was informed by the senior councilors that next year's New Year greetings would follow previous precedent with seating and dining in the White Audience Chamber.
