昌親様の御礼の御使者の人選の件について御老中稲葉美濃守正則殿まで伺いを
立てたところ、番頭を差し出すのが適当である旨の御指図があった。
一、十二月五日
昌親様への御鷹の鶴拝領の御礼として登城した。
一、同月十三日 寒中につき先代の通例に従い使者を以て御国産（一番品）
生鱈を献上した。右の披露が済んだ旨の捻御奉書が御老中稲葉美濃守正則殿から
来た。

Regarding the matter of selecting an envoy for Lord Masachika's formal thanks, an inquiry was made to Senior Councilor Inaba Mino-no-kami Masanori,
and he gave instructions that it would be appropriate to send a guard captain.
1. December 5th:
[The lord] went to the castle to give formal thanks for the crane from the shogun's hawks bestowed upon Lord Masachika.
1. December 13th: For the cold season, following the precedent of previous generations, fresh cod (first grade)
from the domain was presented through an envoy. A twisted formal letter came from Senior Councilor Inaba Mino-no-kami Masanori
stating that the presentation had been reported [to the shogun].
