現代語訳

ただし、この御礼の書状を差し出すことは今後定例となったため記載しない。

一、七月一日、帰国御礼の使者である狛木工允（貞澄）が御目見えし、拝領物を仰せ付けられたことへの御礼として、江戸表へ使者が派遣された。
ただし、この使者の姓名および江戸到着日等は詳細不明。同月十二日に御返書が渡された。

一、同日、浄光院において昨日の夕方から今朝まで、専光院様（昌勝正室菊）の十七回忌法事が執り行われた。

一、同月六日、御生見玉の御祝儀として使者を通じて、先代の例に従い黄金十両が献上された。

一、同月九日、同件について披露済みの御奉書が御老中宅において渡された。
「生見玉の御祝儀として黄金十両を献上されたことを披露したところ、一段の御仕合わせであります。恐々謹言

Note: The matter of submitting letters of gratitude has become a regular practice hereafter, so it will not be recorded.

1. On the first day of the seventh month, Koma Takumi-no-jo (Sadazumi), the messenger for expressing gratitude for the return to the domain, had an audience and was granted gifts. In gratitude for this, a messenger was sent to Edo.
Note: The name of this messenger and the date of arrival in Edo are unclear. A reply letter was delivered on the 12th of the same month.

1. On the same day, at Jōkō-in temple, from yesterday evening until this morning, the 17th memorial service for Senkō-in-sama (Kiku, the principal wife of Masakatsu) was conducted.

1. On the 6th of the same month, as congratulations for the birth of an heir, ten ryō of gold was presented through a messenger, following the precedent of the previous generation.

1. On the 9th of the same month, regarding the above matter, an official letter confirming the presentation was delivered at the residence of the rōjū (senior councilors).
"We have reported that ten ryō of gold was presented as congratulations for the birth of an heir, and this is indeed most felicitous. With utmost respect and humble words.
