一、七月十三日、書状を以て国産の初鱈を献上した。
一、同月二十一日、高巌院様の一周忌につき、公方様の御機嫌伺いのため使者水谷六郎左衛門（勝乗）を江戸表へ派遣した。今日福井を出立。
ただし、六郎左衛門の江戸到着日は詳細不明。この御奉書は八月十八日に御老中宅において渡された。
一、同日、鉄砲を初めて稽古され、長谷川八郎右衛門（勝盛）が御指南申し上げた。
一、同月二十二日、弓を初めて稽古され、飯嶋新左衛門（由因）が御指南申し上げた。
一、八月一日、御祝儀として使者を通じて例の通り御太刀・馬代を献上した。
一、同日、浄光院において先月二十六日から今朝まで、隆芳院様の三十三回忌法事が執り行われた。
一、同月二日、御家老飯田主米（安成）の御役御免につき、御使者芦田図書（吉賢）・皆川多左衛門（勝重）を以て左の通り仰せ出された。
「そなたは病気でもあり、その上江戸において渡辺大隅殿・阿部四郎五郎殿まで願い申した分もあるため、御役を勤めるのは困難と思われるので、これらのことを鑑みて御免とする。」

1. On the 21st of the same month, regarding the first anniversary of Kōgan-in-sama, messenger Mizutani Rokurō-zaemon (Katsunori) was dispatched to Edo to inquire after the Shogun's health. He departed Fukui today.
Note: The date of Rokurō-zaemon's arrival in Edo is unclear. This official letter was delivered at the residence of the rōjū on the 18th of the eighth month.
1. On the same day, firearms practice was begun for the first time, with Hasegawa Hachirō-emon (Katsumori) providing instruction.

"You have been ill, and moreover, you have made requests through Watanabe Ōsumi-dono and Abe Shirō-gorō-dono in Edo, so it is deemed difficult for you to fulfill your duties. In consideration of all these circumstances, you are hereby dismissed."
