現代語訳
隆芳院様の三十三回忌につき、御逝去の際に殉死した者たちの後家である斎藤民部（定之）、山内小太郎、太田三弥（申増）、滝主計（明矩）、鈴木多宮（直賢）、水野善左衛門（勝満）、山本源左衛門（常澄）へ、御使者荒川十右衛門（直盛）を通じて御香典として銀三枚ずつを下された。
昌親様からも御使者小川治兵衛（英中）を通じて銀一枚ずつを下された。
一、八月十六日、月次の御機嫌伺いのため、使者日下部善大夫を江戸表へ派遣し、御肴一種を献上した。善大夫は今日福井を出立。
ただし、善大夫の江戸到着日は詳細不明。同月二十九日に御返書が渡された。
一、同月二十七日、三ノ丸において今日から全ての御足軽たちに鉄砲・弓の稽古が命じられ、御小姓頭一人ずつが出席した。
一、九月四日、重陽の御祝儀として、使者を通じて例の通り御小袖を献上した。
一、同月十二日、清姫様をお迎えするため、酒井玄蕃（元知）を初めとして京都へ派遣した。今日福井を出立。
ただし、同月十六日に京都に到着。
一、同月二十六日、清姫様が京都を御出発され、東海道を通って江戸表へ向かわれた。酒井玄蕃（元知）その他物頭両人、大御番士、御徒等が御供として同行した。
一、同月二十八日、松平主馬（正詮）の嫡子庄兵衛（正恒）が千石で召し出された。
英語訳
Regarding the 33rd memorial service for Ryūhō-in-sama, silver offerings of three pieces each were bestowed through messenger Arakawa Jūemon (Naomori) to the widows of those who committed junshi (ritual suicide) upon her death: Saitō Minbu (Sadayuki), Yamauchi Kotarō, Ōta Mitsuya (Nobumasu), Taki Kazue (Akinori), Suzuki Tamiya (Naotaka), Mizuno Zenza-emon (Katsumitsu), and Yamamoto Genza-emon (Tsunezumi).
From Masachika-sama as well, one silver piece each was bestowed through messenger Ogawa Jihei (Hidenaka).
1. On the 16th of the eighth month, for the monthly inquiry after the Shogun's health, messenger Kusakabe Zendayū was dispatched to Edo, presenting one type of delicacies. Zendayū departed Fukui today.
Note: The date of Zendayū's arrival in Edo is unclear. A reply letter was delivered on the 29th of the same month.
1. On the 27th of the same month, at Sannomaru, from today all ashigaru were ordered to practice firearms and archery, with one koshōgashira attending each session.
1. On the 4th of the ninth month, for the Chōyō (Double Ninth Festival) congratulations, kosode robes were presented through messengers as usual.
1. On the 12th of the same month, to escort Kiyohime-sama, Sakai Genba (Mototomo) and others were dispatched to Kyoto. They departed Fukui today.
Note: They arrived in Kyoto on the 16th of the same month.
1. On the 26th of the same month, Kiyohime-sama departed Kyoto and proceeded to Edo via the Tōkaidō road. Sakai Genba (Mototomo), two monogashira, ōgoban samurai, okachi, and others accompanied her.
1. On the 28th of the same month, Shōbei (Masatsune), son of Matsudaira Shume (Masaakira), was summoned with a stipend of 1,000 koku.
