此般奉公無余儀之上其のそみ
にまかせ大町三河守所帯長井
庄内に候地相よけす而是をあて
置候自今以後一しほ忠せつ
可為肝要者也仍為後日証文

現代語訳
この度の奉公は余儀ないものであったが、その忠義に免じて、大町三河守の所領である長井庄内にある土地を与え置くものである。今後はいっそう忠節を尽くすことが肝要である。よって後日の証文として、以下の通りである。

Regarding the recent service, although it was unavoidable, in recognition of your loyalty, I hereby grant you land in Nagai-shōnai, which is part of the territory of Ōmachi Mikawa-no-kami. From now on, it is essential that you demonstrate even greater loyalty and devotion. Therefore, this serves as documentary proof for future reference.
