一文政九戌二月三日今般御家督被仰蒙候ニ付御使渋谷権左衛門片山平七被遣惣登城一縁【統ヵ】被仰渡有
之節酒井与左衛門方被申聞候ハ向後別紙之通相心得猶又向々へ可申通旨被申聞ニ付今日於御城
向々江申達之
是迄惣登城一統申渡之節故障有之登城無之面々江ハ支配頭或者仲間之内ゟ申達候様
御目付を以申聞候事ニ候得共以来ㇵ分而右之段不申達候旨登城無之面々江ハ支配頭或ハ仲間

総登城恐悦等の心得取扱諸事項
一、文政九年戌年二月三日、今度御家督を仰せ蒙ることになったため、御使として渋谷権左衛門、片山平七を派遣し、総登城一統に申し渡しがあった際、酒井与左衛門の方から申し聞かされたのは、今後は別紙の通りに心得、なお各所へ申し通すべき旨を申し聞かされたため、今日御城において各所へ申し達した。
これまで総登城一統への申し渡しの際、故障があって登城しない者たちへは、支配頭あるいは仲間の内から申し達するよう御目付を通じて申し聞かされていたが、今後は分けてその旨を申し達しないこと、登城しない者たちへは支配頭あるいは仲間から申し達するよう、あらかじめ心得ておくべきこと。
一、恐悦謁見がある際の案内方の件
一 高知中 水戸山川 番頭 寄合 番外 その他末々番外まで
右は御目付から案内すべきもの
ただし高知中が謁見の席に詰めている際のみ御目付が案内し、退出の際は案内に及ばず
付記 高知中の往来で先立つことは御茶口切の際に限り、表御錠口まで往来の際は御目付が案内するため、往来で引くことはない

Section on Expressions of Gratitude
Various guidelines for handling general castle attendance and expressions of gratitude
1. On the 3rd day of the 2nd month of Bunsei 9 (1826), year of the dog, regarding the recent succession to family headship, messengers Shibuya Gonzaemon and Katayama Heishichi were dispatched, and when instructions were given to all castle attendees, Sakai Yozaemon conveyed that henceforth one should follow the guidelines as stated in the separate document, and furthermore should communicate this to all relevant parties. Today, this was communicated to all relevant parties at the castle.
Until now, when giving instructions to all castle attendees, those who had difficulties and could not attend the castle were to be informed through their supervisory heads or colleagues via the inspector (metsuke). However, from now on, such matters should not be communicated separately, and those who cannot attend the castle should be informed by their supervisory heads or colleagues, as should be understood in advance.
1. Regarding guidance procedures when there are audiences for expressions of gratitude:
1. Senior retainers, Mito-Yamakawa, guard captains, associates, irregular guards, and all others down to the lowest irregular guards
These should be announced by the inspector (metsuke)
However, when senior retainers are present at audience seats, only then does the inspector provide guidance; no guidance is needed when they leave
Note: When senior retainers lead the way in coming and going, this is limited to tea ceremony occasions, and when coming and going to the front locked gate, the inspector provides guidance, so there is no withdrawal during coming and going
