現代語訳
民をして神の邪悪なるものを知らしめ、山林に入りて、
似つかわしからざるものに遭遇せぬようにした。魑魅魍魎といえども、
これに遭うことはできなかった。
英語訳
This enabled the people to know of evil spirits, so that when entering mountains and forests,
they would not encounter inappropriate beings. Even demons and sprites
could not meet with them.
