差出申一札之事
先代加藤新兵衛義文政五午年貴殿方ゟ
借用金相嵩候ニ付金屋吉兵衛殿藤屋
鑑吉殿御取咄しを以同人所持之家屋敷質物ニ
差入五ケ年賦相定候処新兵衛儀相果候
以来相続人も無之暫中暫【ママ】相成候且去ル
天保五午年家屋敷類焼致候処貴殿
方ニ而家作モ出来兼右地所御丁内江
御差出被成候ニ付御役人中御談之上家作
普請被成下忝奉存候我等儀右新兵衛
跡式致相続相勤申度候右ニ付而ハ此度
池上吉兵衛殿伊藤治右衛門殿猶又御願申
借用金之処段々御無心申入候処格別之
思召ニ而右之印紙天王宮江御奉納被下則
此度御両人ゟ御渡し被下慥受取忝奉存候
仍而神前ニおゐて御祈祷可致候為後日

差し出し申し上げる一札の件
先代の加藤新兵衛は、文政5年午年に貴殿方から借用金が嵩んだため、金屋吉兵衛殿と藤屋鑑吉殿の仲裁により、同人所持の家屋敷を質物として差し入れ、5年賦での返済を定めました。しかし新兵衛が死去して以来、相続人もなく、しばらく空き家となっておりました。また去る天保5年午年に家屋敷が類焼いたしましたが、貴殿方では家作も出来かね、右の地所を御町内へお差し出しになったため、御役人中でご相談の上、家作普請をしていただき、ありがたく存じております。
私は右の新兵衛の跡式を相続して勤めたく存じます。そのため、この度池上吉兵衛殿と伊藤治右衛門殿に改めてお願い申し上げ、借用金の件で度々お願いいたしましたところ、格別のお心遣いにより、右の印紙を天王宮へご奉納いただき、この度御両人からお渡しいただいたものを確かに受け取り、ありがたく存じております。
つきましては神前において御祈祷をいたします。後日のため一札を差し出します。よって件の如し。

Document of Submission
Our predecessor Kato Shinbei, in the 5th year of Bunsei (1822), year of the Horse, had accumulated debts to your household. Through the mediation of Kanaya Kichibei and Fujiya Kankichi, he pledged his house and property as collateral and arranged for repayment over five years. However, after Shinbei's death, there was no successor, and the property remained vacant for some time. Furthermore, in the 5th year of Tenpo (1834), year of the Horse, the house and property were destroyed by fire. Since your household could not rebuild, you transferred the land to the town district, and the town officials consulted together and kindly constructed new buildings for us, for which we are deeply grateful.
I wish to inherit and continue Shinbei's position. For this purpose, I have once again petitioned Ikegami Kichibei and Ito Jiemon regarding the borrowed money, making repeated requests. Through their extraordinary consideration, they have dedicated the promissory note to Tenno Shrine, and I have gratefully received what both gentlemen have handed over to me this time.
Therefore, I will offer prayers before the deity. I submit this document for future reference. Thus it is written.
