現代語訳
もっとも、これまでの家賃は金二分ずつでしたが、右の年季の間は借宅人の都合の良し悪しにかかわらず、一年につき金一分ずつ、毎年暮れの十二月二十八日限りで当番の方へ確実に納入いたします。その上で、屋根の葺き替えは言うまでもなく、かえって修復は組合で引き受けて取り繕い、少しも荒れ放題にしないよう致します。その上、当春は諸事格別に取り繕うことになりましたので、当年に限り家賃無しでご相談申し上げます。万一右の借宅人について何らかの面倒な問題が生じても、当村組合で引き受けて確実に解決し、皆様に少しもご苦労をおかけしません。後日のため引受証文として、よって書面の通りです。

Although the previous rent was two bu of gold per year, during this lease term, regardless of the tenant's circumstances, we will pay one bu of gold per year, delivering it without fail to the monthly duty officer by the 28th day of the 12th month each year. Furthermore, not only will we handle roof repairs, but our group will take responsibility for all repairs and maintenance to ensure the property does not fall into disrepair. Additionally, since we will undertake special repairs this spring, we have agreed to waive the rent for this year only. Should any difficulties arise concerning the tenant, our village group will take responsibility and resolve them definitively, causing no trouble whatsoever to you gentlemen. This serves as our guarantee document for future reference.
