昨年の鉄砲御改めに続き、当年もまた御改めを実施するにつき、各自の手前に置かれている浪人が鉄砲を所持している場合は、別紙案文の通りに手形を添えて差し上げられるべく候。もっとも、鉄砲を所持していない場合であっても手形を差し上げるべき旨につき、その意をお得あるべく候。以上

追って、当月二十五日を期限として手形を差し上げられるべく候。また、与（組）御支配の面々の末々に至るまでお申し達しなされるべく候。以上

Following last year's firearm inspection, as this year's inspection is also being conducted, in cases where ronin placed in your employ possess firearms, you are to submit a certificate (tegata) with the attached draft document as per the separate enclosure. Please note that even in cases where there are no firearms in possession, a certificate must still be submitted. Please be duly informed of this requirement. The above.

Additionally, certificates are to be submitted by the twenty-fifth of this month. Furthermore, this notice is to be communicated to all persons, down to the lowest members, under your respective unit commands. The above.
