本紙之趣可被得其意候将又近頃所々火之元不念之儀も相聞候間猶又此度改而厳敷相触候様

但し、十一月六日に狛木工助殿より申し聞かされましたことには、御家中において馬を繋ぎ入れることについて、先のお触れ以降、各自怠りなく繋ぎ入れている様子ではあるが、等閑（おろそか）にしている者も中にはあり、これは不都合なことであるから、さらに内々に吟味するよう申し聞かされました。これにより、勝村三太左衛門より柄田喜兵衛へ申し遣わし承り合わせたところ、等しく揃えるべき旨につき、この節までに繋ぎ入れた者、および未だ繋ぎ入れていない者の名前を吟味の上、書付にて差し出すよう申し達した。

一、吉樹多内の養子・多吉について。森田安兵衛の次男であったが、病身となってしまった由。もっとも年若であれば快気するとも思われるが、多内も次第に年齢を重ねてきたゆえ、止むを得ず、双方和順の上で差し戻したい旨、願い出た。二月二十日、願い済み。
◦養子が病身につき、双方和談の上差し戻したい旨の願い出については、これまでは願いの通り許可してきたが、今後は和談の上であっても、病状の程度によってはご沙汰があるものと心得るべきこと。もし等閑に心得て、不届きな願い出をする者があった場合には、双方ともに御吟味の上、処置があるものと思うべきである。兼ねてよりそのように心得ておくべき旨に候条、ご承知おきください。以上

◦ It has come to our attention that among those in the domain who keep horses, some have been leaving their stables vacant for extended periods under the pretense of switching horses, which is an unacceptable situation. Those currently covered by this notice who do not have horses [stabled] are to stable them without delay. Please be accordingly informed. The above.

Note: On the 6th day of the 11th month, Komaki Takunosuke communicated that, since the previous notice regarding the stabling of horses within the domain, it appears that each person has been diligently stabling their horses; however, as there are some who have been negligent, this remains an unacceptable situation, and he requested that a further private investigation be conducted. Accordingly, Katsumura Santazaemon communicated this to Karata Kihei, and upon inquiry, it was determined that a uniform standard should be met. Therefore, it was directed that a written report be submitted listing those who have stabled their horses by this time, as well as those who have not yet done so, following a thorough investigation.

1. Regarding Tada (多吉), the adopted son of Yoshiki Tanai: Although he was the second son of Morita Yahei, he has fallen ill. While it is hoped that he may recover, given his youth, Tanai himself is advancing in age, and therefore, under unavoidable circumstances and with the mutual consent of both parties, a request was made to return him. Approved on the 20th day of the 2nd month.
◦ Regarding petitions to return an adopted son due to illness, by mutual agreement between the parties: whereas such requests have hitherto been granted as petitioned, henceforth, even if by mutual agreement, the decision shall be made in accordance with the nature of the illness. Should there be those who make careless or improper petitions in this matter, both parties shall be subject to investigation and appropriate measures shall be taken. Please take note of this in advance and conduct yourselves accordingly. The above.
