**【一】銭割早算用（ぜにわりはやさんよう）**
*（相場八匁四分より十二匁六分まで、ただし分の位まで）*
**問：** 銭の相場が九匁四分五厘の時、銀一匁で銭はいくらになるか。
**答：** 百五文五分
**術：** 実（計算の基準値）を二十匁と置き、その中から相場の九匁四分五厘を引けば答えが出る。
> 上記の方法は、相場が九匁四分五厘から十匁までの場合にこのように計算する。十匁より以上の場合は、その時の相場に対応する因法（掛け数）を掛け、それをその相場の実の中から引けば答えが出る。
**例題：** 銭の相場が十匁五分の時、銀一匁で銭はいくらになるか。

**[Problem 1] Quick Calculation Methods for Money Exchange (Zeni-wari Hayasan-yō)**
*(For exchange rates from 8 monme 4 bu to 12 monme 6 bu, calculated to the bu digit)*
**Problem:** When the exchange rate for copper coin (*zeni*) is 9 monme 4 bu 5 rin, how many *mon* of copper coin can one obtain per 1 monme of silver?
**Answer:** 105 *mon* 5 *bu*
**Method:** Set the base value (*jitsu*) at 20 monme, then subtract the current exchange rate of 9 monme 4 bu 5 rin from it, and the answer follows directly.
> The above method applies when the exchange rate is between 9 monme 4 bu 5 rin and 10 monme. When the rate exceeds 10 monme, multiply by the corresponding factor (*inhō*) for the given rate, then subtract that amount from the base value (*jitsu*) of the given rate, and the answer follows directly.
**Example Problem:** When the exchange rate for copper coin is 10 monme 5 bu, how many *mon* of copper coin can one obtain per 1 monme of silver?
