先祖伊藤七郎兵衛と申す者が朝倉家に相勤め、番頭役を仕ったと承け伝えている。朝倉家滅亡の後、浪人となり、代々当国在辺に罷り在り、父作右衛門重次と申す者は、光通公の御代に御勘定方小役を相勤め申した。

Current generation: Ito Sakuemon Shigemasa (home province unknown, birthplace Echizen, family name unknown)
It has been passed down that his ancestor, called Ito Shichiroubei, served the Asakura family in the role of guard captain. After the fall of the Asakura family, he became a masterless samurai, and generations have resided in the vicinity of this province. His father, called Sakuemon Shigenext, served in a minor role in the accounting office during Lord Mitsumichi's reign.
