Beyond these areas, the earthquake reached many provinces, but this is beyond what brush and paper can fully describe.
By the benevolent grace and compassion of the authorities (the Shogunate), relief rice and emergency shelter huts were provided to those in great distress. House-owning townspeople also distributed money, rice, and other goods, and the people at large were at last able to find peace of mind and rejoice in the restoration of tranquility.
