ただし抱屋敷二つまでは問題ないが、それ以上は難しい。
昨今まで所持してきた分については問題ない。
一、御目見以下並びに陪臣・寺社・百姓・町人から
御目見以上の面々へ譲渡する件については、由緒がなくても
済ませることができる。
御目見以上の面々から譲渡する件については、陪臣・百姓
へは由緒がなくても問題ないが、寺社・町人へは
無用とする。
ただし百姓所持の抱屋敷囲いなどもある場合は譲り受けて
抱屋敷にすることは問題ない。百姓所持の畑地を
譲り受けて抱屋敷にすることは無用とする。
一、御目見以上並びに陪臣・寺社・百姓・町人は由緒がなくても
互いに譲渡・譲受するようにすること。
右の内
一、武士から町人へ譲渡することは無用であること。
一、町人から武士へ譲渡することは問題ない。
一、百姓所持の抱屋敷を町人へ譲渡することは
難しい。

However, if farmers possess retainer residences with enclosures, it is acceptable to receive these and
make them into retainer residences. Receiving farmland owned by farmers and making it into retainer residences should be avoided.
1. Those of shogunal audience rank and above, as well as retainers, temples/shrines, farmers, and townspeople should mutually transfer and receive [properties] even without proper lineage connections.
