一、同月十一日 御登城し御参勤の御礼を申し上げ、御太刀・銀・綿を御献上。その後お連れした御家来狛帯刀澄翁の御目見えを仰せ付けられ、それが済んで西丸へ御登城し御礼を申し上げ、それから御老中・若年寄中への御回り勤め
一、同月十一日 紅葉山へ公方様・大納言様が御参詣されることに依り、御予参の御勤め
一、同日 御老中本田伯耆守正珍殿からの御呼び出しにつき、御留守居加藤長右衛門正敏が出向いたところ、来る二十八日に於義丸様が御本丸大奥へ御登城されるよう御書付をもって申し聞かされた
一、同月十八日 御精進上げにつき御使者をもって例の通り御肴一種を献上

1. March 25th - Regarding the献上 (presentation) of year-end congratulatory gifts, the inner letter (naisho) and official letter (hōsho) were delivered at the castle, and the gifts bestowed upon retainers followed the usual protocol.

1. April 6th - Audience duty with the duty magistrate (goyōban) Matsudaira Ukon-shōgen Takemoto-dono

Same day - Regarding the arrival in the capital (sanpu), the messenger (jōshi) and senior councilor (rōjū) Honda Hōki-no-kami Masayoshi-dono came to convey the shogun's intentions (jōi no omomuki). (The messenger's protocol followed usual customs.) As thanks for this, courtesy visits were made to the senior councilors.
1. April 11th - Ascended to the castle to express gratitude for the sankin (alternate attendance), presenting a sword, silver, and cotton. Afterward, the retainer Koma Taitō Sumio who accompanied was granted an audience. Following this, ascended to the Western Castle (Nishinomaru) to express gratitude, then made courtesy visits to the senior councilors and junior councilors (wakadoshiyori).
1. April 11th - The Shogun and Dainagon visited Momijiyama, so performed preliminary visit duties.
1. Same day - Due to a summons from senior councilor Honda Hōki-no-kami Masayoshi-dono, the caretaker (rusui) Katō Chōemon Masatoshi went and was informed through written notice that Yoshimaru-sama should ascend to the main castle's inner quarters (ōoku) on the coming 28th.
1. April 18th - Regarding the end of the purification period, one type of ceremonial fish was presented through a messenger as usual.
1. Same day - As souvenirs for the arrival in the capital, five-colored ceremonial paper was presented through a messenger as usual.
