※本書は、吉原遊廓の女郎たちの日常の姿を描いた画集である。全三巻のうち、この資料は上巻のみ。襲名直後の瀬川花魁も登場する（第4コマ）。なお、身請けされる瀬川に蔦屋重三郎が手渡したとされる分厚い本が、この書物であると伝えられる。

※ This is a illustrated collection depicting the everyday appearances of courtesans in the Yoshiwara pleasure district. Though the complete work comprises three volumes, only the upper volume (Volume I) is held in this collection. The newly renamed courtesan Segawa makes an appearance (frame 4). It is said that this very book was the thick volume handed by Tsutaya Jūzaburō to Segawa upon her ransom and release from the quarter.
