三味線堀、七回り、鳥越、新堀辺りが損傷し、浅草御蔵前通りから駒形辺り（田原町、仲町辺り、広小路の仮宅遊女屋が損傷）、観音様境内の大半が損傷し、樹木が倒れることが甚だしく、また馬道、花川戸、山の宿辺りの仮宅の遊女屋が大半損傷し、また今戸、橋場辺りは町家が大損傷し、出水によって損傷が多い。その他東西南北は文章に書き尽くしがたく、また近郷近在では、まず北は千住宿からこの花、草加、越谷、大沢辺り、幸手、栗橋辺りから大田原、宇都宮辺り、関宿は特に大損傷で、この辺りの近在は大損傷である。中山道筋は板橋から蕨宿、浦和、大宮宿、与野、川越辺り、その他近郷近在は到底書き尽くしがたい。水戸街道は市川宿、松戸、流山、野田（吉川）、布施、銚子辺りが損傷し、行徳、船橋辺りから木下、登戸、寒川、曽我野、流野村辺りは津波が多い。東海道筋は品川、川崎、神奈川辺り、箱根辺りが大損傷で、その上津波で家々が流れることは数知れず。その他甲州街道辺りも到底書き尽くしがたく、その他関東八ヶ国の損傷箇所は多い。まず有り増し書き、印をもって愚札をお知らせ申し上げ候。なお後便で申し上げたく、このような次第でございます。

Shamisen Moat, Shichimawari, Torigoe, and Shinbori areas were damaged. From Asakusa Okuramaedori to the Komagata area (Tawaramachi, Nakamachi area, and the temporary brothels in Hirokoji were damaged), most of the Kannon Temple grounds were damaged, and the falling of trees was tremendous. Also, the temporary brothels in Umamichi, Hanakawado, and Yamanoyado areas were mostly damaged. Moreover, in Imado and Hashiba areas, the townhouses suffered great damage, and there was much damage from flooding. Damage in all other directions—east, west, south, and north—is impossible to describe fully in writing.
As for nearby districts and villages, starting with the north: from Senju post station to Kono Hana, Soka, Koshigaya, Osawa area, Satte, Kurihashi area, then Otawara, Utsunomiya area, and Sekiyado suffered particularly severe damage—all nearby areas in this region suffered great damage. Along the Nakasendo route: from Itabashi to Warabi post station, Urawa, Omiya post station, Yono, Kawagoe area—other nearby districts and villages are truly impossible to describe completely.
Along the Mito Highway: Ichikawa post station, Matsudo, Nagareyama, Noda (Yoshikawa), Fuse, and Choshi area were damaged. From Gyotoku and Funabashi area to Kimotsu, Noborito, Samukawa, Sogano, and Nagano village area, there were many tsunamis. Along the Tokaido route: Shinagawa, Kawasaki, Kanagawa area, and Hakone area suffered great damage. Moreover, countless houses were swept away by tsunamis. Other areas along the Koshu Highway are also impossible to describe completely. There are many damaged locations throughout the eight provinces of Kanto.
