一一門可被用竹雀与二端頭二引両事

一一族三端頭二引両可被相付事
一家々之紋不可被断絶事
一勿論一家一族並者不可用

現代語訳
**幕紋覚（まくもんおぼえ）**
一、一門には竹雀の紋と、二端頭・二引両の紋を用いるべきこと。
一、一家には二端頭・二引両の紋を用いるべきこと。
一、一族には三端頭・二引両を付けるべきこと。
一、各家々の紋は断絶させてはならないこと。
一、言うまでもなく、一家・一族並びの者はこれを用いてはならないこと。
右の紋に関することについて、以上のとおり定める。

**Record of Curtain Crests (Makumon Oboe)**
Item: The *ichimon* (immediate clan members) shall use the crest of the *take-suzume* (bamboo and sparrow), along with the *nitan-gashira* (two-ended) and *ni-hikiryō* (double horizontal stripes) crests.
Item: The *ikka* (close family members) shall use the *nitan-gashira* and *ni-hikiryō* crests.
Item: The *ichizoku* (extended clan members) shall be assigned the *sandan-gashira* (three-ended) and *ni-hikiryō* crests.
Item: The crests of each household shall not be allowed to become extinct.
Item: Needless to say, those of the *ikka* and *ichizoku* rank and below shall not use the aforementioned crests.
The above concerns the matter of the said crests.
