[Right page] Those whose ancestors served during Lord Hideyasu's reign, and whose descendants were summoned in later reigns after their service had been interrupted. [Left page] △ Imamura From Lord Hideyasu's reign Official attendant from the shogunate, year unknown ● Imamura Kambu, personal name unknown《home province: Mikawa, birth province: Musashi, family name: Fujiwara》 Kambu's father, a man called Imamura Kurōbei, resided in a place called Imamura in Mikawa Province. He was summoned by Gongen-sama (Tokugawa Ieyasu) and during the Keichō years served as御納戸役 (onando-yaku, a treasury official). As his family crest, he received the ishidatami (stone pavement pattern) within the nobori-fuji no maru (ascending wisteria circle), and it is said that this design still exists with the official indigo dyers in Kyoto according to oral tradition. Kurōbei's inheritance went to his second son Hikobei, while his third son Denzaburō, fourth son Denshirō, and fifth son Den'emon all served as hatamoto (direct retainers of the shogun). All four accompanied their lord to the Siege of Osaka and distinguished themselves in battle. Their descendants all continue to serve as hatamoto to this day. As for Kurōbei's eldest son Kambu, during the Keichō years he was appointed as an attendant to Lord Hideyasu and was made lord of Maruoka Castle in this province. However, during Lord Tadanao's reign, there was a dispute within the retainer band, and during that time the family line was severed.
