一享保十四酉十一月朔日御城代狛市右衛門申聞候ハ自分へ御預之与力依田新五右衛門儀年寄候ニ付忰助七儀年頃ニも御座候間
親新五右衛門勤為見習新五右衛門当番之節昼番ハ新五右衛門相勤泊ニハ忰指出為相勤候様ニ申付候此段先役之衆中も
右之通ニ申付置以後各々相達候先格も有之故此度新五右衛門儀も右之趣ニ去頃申付候間承置候様申聞候ニ付其段
采女方へ申達候処先例有之儀ニ候承置候様ニと被申聞候
但右先格ハ最前本多縫殿方支配之節与力岡田助右衛門儀年寄ニ付忰助左衛門へ右之通被申付候旨
一元文元辰六月十五日稲葉采女方仮預之与力本多縫殿方へ御預被成候間左様可相心得旨尤御留守年ニ引
渡被申候節ハ御目付共を以被申達被引渡事候へ共御在国故各同席ニ而被申達事済候ニ付不被及其儀候間
此段承置可申旨采女方被申聞候
一寛保元酉六月五日左之通口上書を以被申聞候ニ付左膳方へ相達候処被請取置旨同廿五日追而願之通被仰出
拙者与力之内壱人明御座候ニ付家来三宅伝治与申者与力ニ召出申度願奉存候右之趣同役中迄宜御申達可被下候

依之最前ゟ各迄申聞置候与力一人増被下旨被仰出尤右与力知百石被下筈之旨但最前荒川十右衛門与力ニ而罷在候帰山佐左衛門与申者今度
与力ニ申付由也 按ニ貞享度町奉行向後一人役ニ被仰付与力三人御預之処此節ゟ四人ニ成
一宝永二酉五月廿二日御書院番之内郷次右衛門忰中沢平八御貝役被召出御切米拾石二人扶持被下但村越与左衛門果候ニ付明有之□□□
御徒並也右御貝役支配御目付月番飯沼官兵衛へ酒井典膳申渡之

奉行中より相伺い又助忌み同二十五日御免罷出た
一、享保十四年酉年十一月朔日御城代狛市右衛門申し聞かせるには、自分へお預けの与力依田新五右衛門の儀年寄ったにつき倅助七の儀年頃にも御座するので
親新五右衛門勤め見習いのため新五右衛門当番の節昼番は新五右衛門相勤め泊まりには倅を指し出し相勤めさせる様に申し付けた。この段先役の衆中も

渡し申される節はお目付共をもって申し達し引き渡される事であるがお在国ゆえ各同席にて申し達し事済んだにつき其の儀に及ばれず
この段承り置くべき旨采女方申し聞かされた

与力に申し付けた由なり 按ずるに貞享度町奉行向後一人役に仰せ付けられ与力三人お預けのところこの節より四人になる
一、宝永二年酉年五月二十二日お書院番の内郷次右衛門倅中沢平八お貝役召し出されお切米十石二人扶持下されたただし村越与左衛門果てたにつき明きあり□□□
お徒並びなり右お貝役支配お目付月番飯沼官兵衛へ酒井典膳申し渡した
一、天保十四年卯年十二月十六日狛杢与力梶川喜左衛門年来実体相勤めたにつき金二百疋

右につき杢目代の者一人指し出すよう申し達し源左衛門宅において申し渡した

The magistrates made an inquiry, and Matasuke's mourning period ended on the 25th of the same month when he was permitted to return to duty.
1. On the 1st day of the 11th month of Kyōhō 14, Year of the Rooster, castle deputy Koma Ichiemon reported that his assigned yoriki Yoda Shingorōemon had grown old, and since his son Sukeshichi was of appropriate age,
he ordered that the father Shingorōemon should serve as training supervisor, with Shingorōemon handling day shifts when on duty and his son taking night shifts. He mentioned that previous officials had
also made such arrangements and informed their colleagues, and since there was precedent, he had recently given similar orders to Shingorōemon and asked that this be acknowledged.
When this was communicated to Uneme's office, they replied that since there was precedent, they would acknowledge it.
Note: The previous precedent occurred when yoriki Okada Sukēemon under Honda Nuinodono's supervision grew old and similar arrangements were made for his son Sukēzaemon.
1. On the 15th day of the 6th month of Genbun 1, Year of the Dragon, a yoriki temporarily assigned to Inaba Uneme was transferred to Honda Nuinodono's supervision, so this should be understood accordingly. Normally during the lord's absence,
such transfers would be communicated and carried out through the inspectors, but since the lord was in residence, the matter was concluded through direct communication between colleagues, so formal procedures were unnecessary.
Uneme's office requested this be acknowledged.
1. On the 5th day of the 6th month of Kanpō 1, Year of the Rooster, the following verbal statement was submitted, and when communicated to Sazen's office, it was acknowledged on the 25th of the same month, and the request was subsequently approved:
"As there is one vacancy among my yoriki, I wish to promote my retainer named Miyake Denji to yoriki rank. Please kindly communicate this matter to my colleagues.
Respectfully, 5th day of 6th month, To Katō Buemon, Honda Nuinodono

1. On the 15th day of the 10th month of Enkyō 4, Year of the Rabbit, in Edo the regulation number of foot soldiers was 60, but in recent years there were 5 floating personnel, and regarding these vacant positions, it had been previously communicated that they would remain vacant. However, this time
due to the young lord's entry and insufficient foot soldiers, 7 new men were recruited, making the total 72 going forward.
1. On the 21st day of the 12th month of the same year, in Edo, two palace supply officers were granted formal dress privileges, and regarding the three assistant officers who also handle women's court affairs, to prevent disruption of duties, they were granted formal dress privileges through special consideration.
Among the palace assistant officers, Tada Matazaemon and Morinaga Bukē were each granted supervisory authority, as communicated to Akita Sangozaemon and Suzuki Jūzaemon through Sakai Geki.
1. On the 9th day of the 2nd month of Kan'en 2, Year of the Snake, priest Nosaka Nyokan ■■ was ordered to provide instruction, and accordingly was appointed to priest rank.
1. On the 21st day of the 3rd month of Genroku 3, Year of the Horse, town magistrate Atsumi Shinemon submitted a written request through the inspectors asking to be secretly appointed a colleague, which reached His Lordship's attention. For now, he should continue in his current position.
Accordingly, as previously communicated to everyone, one additional yoriki was granted, with a stipend of 100 koku. Previously, Kaeriyama Sazaemon, who had served as yoriki under Arakawa Jūemon, was now
appointed as yoriki. Note: When the town magistrate was changed to a single-person role during the Jōkyō period with three yoriki assigned, from this time it became four.
1. On the 22nd day of the 5th month of Hōei 2, Year of the Rooster, Nakazawa Heihachi, son of Gō Jiemon from the palace guard, was recruited as shell officer and granted 10 koku rice stipend and provisions for two people. This was due to the death of Murakoshi Yozaemon creating a vacancy □□□
equivalent to foot soldiers. Sakai Tenzen communicated this appointment of shell officer under inspector supervision to monthly inspector Iinuma Kanbē.
1. On the 16th day of the 12th month of Tenpō 14, Year of the Rabbit, yoriki Kajikawa Kizaemon under Koma Moku, having served faithfully for many years, was granted 200 mon in gold.
"This should be communicated as above" to monthly inspector Yamamoto Genzaemon.
Regarding this, it was communicated that Moku should send one deputy, and this was conveyed at Genzaemon's residence.
