色は匂えども 憂いの奥山
散りぬるを 今日越えて
我が世誰ぞ 浅き夢見し
常ならむ 酔いもせず
英語訳
Though colors are fragrant, crossing today
Over the deep mountain of sorrow that has scattered,
Who in my world has seen such shallow dreams?
May it be eternal, without intoxication.
